We recommend Doteasy. Doteasy domain registration fees are reasonable at $25.00. The $0 - Hosting Service is the best we have found for small business sites with no ads, 20 mb storage space, 10 e-mail accounts with mail forwarding and auto responder and great plug-in tools. If you do not currently have a hosting service we will set up a Doteasy account for you.
GRAPHIC DESIGN
Our philosophy is to provide easy to maintain sites. Graphic designer fees often times increase the overall cost of the site as well as on-going maintenance. Our sites can be maintained easily with an html editor in-house or affordably by us. For that reason, we do not employ or work with a graphic designer, but we can recommend several sites that sell "boxed" art for web sites and we are happy to integrate them into your site for you. Visit: http://www.boxedart.com or http://www.pagekits.com for some other inexpensive options. Purchase an interface and/or template to be integrated into your site by us - saves time and money and still provides you the high quality graphics you may desire.
PROJECT PHASES
Information Gathering: An initial complimentary 1 hour consultation will provide us with the information we need to provide you with an accurate estimate. We will provide you with a written estimate and a Next Steps Memo identifying the specific information and materials we will need from you to get started. To complete this phase, we request that you sign, date and return the estimate along with a 50% down payment to begin the project and forward any copy, images, etc. that we've requested to get started.
Design: After obtaining your materials, we will create a page that will represent the design for the site and will request approval on the design before moving forward. We will post that page on our server so you may access it at your convenience. Build: We will complete the remainder of the site and post the site in full on our server. We will provide you with access to the pages for your review and feedback. Edits will be completed based on your feedback and in preparation for final approval. Approve & Deploy: When we receive your approval of the site, we will need final payment for the work. After receiving your payment we will post your pages on your server accessible via your domain (personal web address).
Project Review: Before we go live with the new site, we'll send you a manual for your site that will include all of the password/login information and some instructional information on how to use the new features and we'll schedule a final project review. We like to review the details in the manual with you in full before the site is live.
WEBMASTER TRAINING
Maintaining your own site does not have to be difficult or time consuming. If you are interested in updating your own site, we are happy to train you. Webmaster training is available and course materials are provided. Of course, if you prefer not to, we offer low cost maintanence packages as well.
